"The Friday Afternoon News-Dump" (n.)--When an entity, person, organization, or government waits until late in the day Friday to release news that is damaging, embarrassing, or just plain-old bad news.

And, this news which is just coming from Irag. Yesterday, that's right yesterday, in a fight in Anbar province two soldiers were killed, and TWENTY-TWO were wounded yesterday.
Yesterday.
But don't worry, everything's fine over there. We won. Mission Accomplished.
