Someone get Dodd some Cortisone
I don't think I'm slandering New England, Connecticut, Democrats, John Kerry, or anyone else when I say: "We really really really really don't need another New England Senator running for President...like ever."
I know I'm not alone in saying that, but that doesn't mean that it won't happen.
In fact, CT Sen Christopher Dodd says he has "an itch" to run for President. Thankfully even he doesn't seem to think it's going to happen: "It's an itch. Could grow. Could disappear. It's an itch. It's not a bad word to use." So says Dodd.
This is the kind of article that is planted to gauge interest in a potential run. Dodd probably hopes that the world will grind to a halt and Dems across the country will say: "Yes Chris You Are the Man." And dreams of Gore will fade, Hillary will retire, and Warner will decide to run for Senate.
But unfortunately for Dodd, that's not going to happen.
I applaud the try, you have to try. But this just isn't your year Dodd.
...now if you said you wanted to challenge Rell for the Governor's Mansion...
